In August, 2008 we completed a partnership with S.C. Dept. of Health & Environmental Control, Office of Minority Health.  Through our work during the partnership cycle the ministry was granted funds to purchase a TV, DVD player, educational resources, public health consultations, and installation of the health bulletin board in the church lower level.

Most recently the church received an Automated External Defibrillator by a generous anonymous donor. The AED increases survival rate in cardiac emergencies. Users of the AED are annually CPR certified and will be trained in proper use by Professional Emergency 1st Respondents.

We invite all ministries and committees to encourage at least one of your members to join the Health Ministry as a member or partner/representative for your ministry or committee. Professionals, non professionals, males, and females are welcome to assist us in realizing our vision and carrying out our mission as Christ guides us.  Meetings are held 4th Saturdays @ 10:30 a.m.
