"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)
Throughout its years Morris Street Baptist Church's mission, as outlined in the book of Matthew, has been unchanging. It remains a body of baptized believers led of the Holy Spirit to make disciples of Christ by:
- Bringing souls to Christ through the preaching, teaching, and witnessing to the Word of God.
- Fostering spiritual growth through Christian Education opportunities.
- Providing and stimulating genuine fellowship and fervent stewardship.
- Offering and encouraging prayer, praise, and worship that exalt Jesus Christ.
